I am readymade

my wallpaper wants to kill itself.

but i can't help it thanks to my cane-laden 90-somethin' land lord telling me that "it's fine the way it is" or "it's been like that for years, why on earth would you even think about changing it?"

because it's fucking U-L-G-Y(and it 'aint got no alibi)

but i believe i have a way to at least do a little something to it.
i re-found one of my favorite website/message board/magazine last night
www.readymade.com, it's a great place for people who like to make things, such as myself.

but the important part of this is that i found a way to cover my wallpaper, for not only cheap, but for simple(yes i just wrote that, on purpose) it's only going to take me:
1.a fuck ton of very cheap and light cotton fabric(that's where the money goes)
2.a bit of starch
3.a bucket
4.a bit of patience

i just have to wallpaper the fabric up using a starch and water mixture, it peels right off and i can dye it if i want to(fuckin' right!)

Breaking Kayfab

so i leave for france in 5 days.
i fly accross the atlantic ocean in 5 days.
i see 300 year old buildings hold mcdonalds in 5 days
i hang out with james in 5 days.

that's rad.

But, i would like to mention that i'm getting a little freaked out, because quite frankly, after this trip, i'm going to have no money for rent/bills/food/guitars/amps/new sticks

and that's not what's freaking me out.
it's the fact i've become totally ok with it.

shouldn't i have some kind of survival instinct that says "you know, you're a fucking idiot?" because i don't. all my mind is saying is "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAA THIS IS GOING TO BE FUCKING AAAAWWWWWEEEESOME. there must be a way for me to find some kind of solice in this right?

New Royalty is sorting itself out.
most/all our problems have been stemming from one thing.
we don't practice nearly enough.

i hope that while i'm away they get a couple concreate practices in,
and do the things that we talked about tonight.
like find at least 2 days durring the week for practice and stick to them.

i need a new job.

my medsenses contract is going to be up very soon.
and that means i have about 1500 less a month
and it's hard to live off the other crap i get paid at best western.

gahd damn.

The re-up

it's been awhile.

new royalty's first show went very well, it was seen as the show of the year in most circles(now that's nice)but tonight was a bit frustraiting.
we were supposed to go record tonight, but than hammond wasn't there(for some reason)

and things went down hill from there

on the pluse side we have a show in feb with the super fantastics,

at the haviland club,

wich is more than nice, i love that venue, it's an old victorian gentalmens club huge cielings with amazing furnishings and it even has a bar built in(pretty freakin' cheap too. i'm sure we'll be ready for that show

in other news i think i'm in loved with a stringed insterment.
